SIA Security Licence
The SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence will 'open doors' into careers such as transporting cash and valuables, close protection, door supervision, public space surveillance (CCTV) and security guards
STAGE ONE
Attend a 2 week theory training programme to equip you with job ready skills identifying areas where you can get ahead at work, and increase your job prospects. You will undertake a range of courses and training, and you could gain a number of job specific skills such as;
- Numeracy Certificate
- Literacy Certificate
- CV Writing
- Interview Techniques
- IT and Computer Training
- Theory Training towards your SIA Security Licence
STAGE TWO
Once you have completed the 2 week theory course, you will be booked to attend a local provider for the SIA Training and Examination.
The SIA security licence and training course will be free if you are in receipt of a means tested benefit, such as Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support, Pension Guarantee, Housing or Council Tax Benefits, Working Tax Credit, Disabled Persons Tax Credit, or you are an unwaged dependant of anyone in receipt of the above means tested benefits.
